This weekend it’s all about fall, y’all. Get into the spirit of the season by soaking in the weather, prepping for the holidays, or feasting around fires. We rounded up the best events for you to give back and get into the season:


Saturday 9am – 12pm: November Tree Planting

Head to the Highlands with Community Bucket and Trees Atlanta to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and make our city greener. Stick around after the event to grab lunch with all your new best friends.


Saturday 11am – Sunday 6pm: Indie Craft Experience

Already checking gifts off your Christmahannukwanzadan list? Get your presents early the Indie Craft Experience which boasts 165+ craft and vintage vendors, as well as food trucks, DJs and swag bags!


Saturday 7:30pm – 11:30pm: Firelight 2016

We all know the best part about being grown-up is having an adult bevvie with your s’mores. Head to SweetWater to enjoy great beer, home-grown bands Bobby’s Shorts and All The Locals and roaring campfires with your s’mores in support of Georgia Conservancy’s Stewardship Trips Program.


Sunday 3pm – 5pm: A Toast to the Culture in Agriculture

Global Growers is hosting an East African and South Asian feast at Bamboo Creek Farm for their 5th annual Toast to the Culture in Agriculture fundraiser. In addition to global fare, the evening will include bonfires, a farm tour and plenty of eats from the American South.
