This weekend, don’t feel like a grinch when you leave the kids at home (if ya have ’em) and get groovy while dancing, giggling, giving and more! Now that we’re at the peak of the holiday season it’s time to blow off some steam and shake off the wear and tear of 2016. Here’s what’s good this weekend:
Dance your way over to High Lo Press for a holiday market featuring prints, zines, small paintings, t-shirts, crafts and more – all from local artists. Proceeds from the night will be donated to five different causes. Now that’s a sweet deal!
We all need to cry-laugh our way out of the 2016 dumpster fire that just won’t quit. Head over to The Village Theatre for their Pretty Late Show featuring some of the South’s best improv celebs, live music, games, and all the belly laughs you can muster.
Take a spin around Second Self Brewing and support work from artists during MINT’s holiday exhibition. Celebrate creatives with the perfect combination of art and craft ales.
Sweat off your overindulgences with a new toy in tow for Venkman’s Saved By the Band. Break in your dancing shoes to 80s and 90s hits and groove into the evening with holiday JAMZ. Toy donations will go to the tykes at Agape Youth & Family Center.
